Devlog Day #005


This is the fifth day of developing Neon Nights.

Today I have finished the Pixel Perfect setup in Unity. I had problems with the sprites not displaying correctly, which after long research, turned out to be caused by the sprites dimensions not being even. Also, at some point the camera just started wiggling and going crazy. This seemed to be an issue with the pixel snapping, which I could solve by shifting the character and camera 0.5 pixels down.

Furthermore I have started to implement the procedural map generation, but this isn't far yet.

I worked 3.5 hours today.

In the next days, I will continue the world generation with the streets and buildings.
