Devlog Day #013 / 2-Day-break


This is the 13th day of developing Neon Nights.

Today I added character idle and walk animations.

I also started to think about the story of the game, but I don't want to tell you too much about this yet. All I can say is that I plan to have 5 parts, each part has 4 levels and 1 boss fight, so 5 part at 5 levels.

The game is set in a dystopian world, where technology has advanced too fast. The government has replaced everybody with robots, military, police, firefighters, ...   Some incidents have caused most people to leave the city, but some remained and founded gangs to fight against the corrupt government that has taken over control. The goal of the player is to find the head of the government and eliminate the source of evil.

I worked 2.25h today.

Next up is lighting (I have no clue how I want to do this yet) and a scene background.
