Devlog Day #004 / 3 Day Break
Today is the fourth day of developing Neon Nights.
I have made an unplanned break over three days. All the graphic design was drawing my motivation empty, and I really didn't feel like doing anything.
Furthermore, I have realized that nobody wants to hear my thoughts every day, so I have decided to summarize my progress every few days in a separate post.
Today I have worked little on my prototype. I have added a broken wall, some trash and turned off neon lights in the valley:
I then got back to Unity, where I tried to setup pixel perfect motion (that means that the character isn't smoothly moving across the map, but that it is moving within the pixels).
I didn't come far however, and in order to not drain my already low motivation even more, I decided to stop for today.
I have worked 1 hour today.
Tomorrow I will be trying to finish the pixel perfect motion setup. When this is done, I will try to generate a map programmatically on which I can move with my character.
